Default Vid of my ride at the track.

Here is my 98 Trans Am at Dragway 42. I finally got around to getting it on the computer. Timeslip reads as follows :

Reaction - .1979
60' - 1.7041
330' - 4.8981
1/8et - 7.6310
1/8 MPH - 89.63
1000' ET 9.9651
1/4 ET - 11.9910
1/4 MPH - 113.29

I am happy with the results considering it was a very low budget project using parts around the shop, my personal garage and a couple used parts. Pretty much just did it see what I can do with some b/s I had layin around.
Stats for the car:

LS1 Edit tune by GMR SPEED
385 RWHP 380 RWTQ

Engine:
6.0L LQ4 Iron block all stock internals
99 LS1 heads [Milled to bring engine to 11.1:1 compression]
LS6 intake
98 Injectors/fuel rail
Rollmaster double roller
Cam specs 236/243 612/622 @ .112
Stock Rockers
Flowtech LT's and Y Pipe [Like I said budget]
SLP Loudmouth
TR6 plugs
MSD wires
SLP LID and CAI

Drivetrain:
Stock 4L60E trans [Slippling with 146k on it]
3800 Vig stall
Stock 10 bolt out of 99 TA with stock 3.42 gear

Suspension:
KYB AGX all the way around [Front on 4 rear on 3]
Removed Front Sway Bar
UMI LCA's and Panard Rod

Weight Reduction:
Removed AC and AIR

The car is in 1000 pieces now and I plan to desimate that old number next spring, but it was a fun ride for the little amount that was put into it.

Wow someone else from Cleveland. Yea gotta love 42. I think I got like 8 passes that night only in about 4 hours. I really dont have a problem with the track, esp. because you can get alot of runs in there. But they need to pave the damn entrance.

Where in Cleveland ya from?

I was going to use the bottle but once I got so close to 11's I wanted to see if i could tip in. The car is now in pieces. Much bigger better plans in the works, espically with our new turbo kits coming out.

3000, the car was rolling through the brakes pretty bad as you can tell in the burnout, I couldnt hold it still. That track is very poorly prepped, when I was at Mid Mich motorplex which was prepped alot better I could launch at 3300 and pulling 1.62 60's.

Wow with that high of a stall I'd figure that you could stall it higher. Maybe you needed new brakes or more hydraulic pressure to hold the brakes. I was able to stall at about 3800 on the brakes but the transmission didn't like that too much so 3500 is where I stall it now.

I went to Dragway 42 ONCE this past year. I went only because all the NE Ohio GTOs went there. I hate how you have to drive through dirt/mud and gravel after every pass. That place sucked for traction. What a bunch of hillbillies.

+2 If they paved that and prepped the track every now and again it'd be a kick *** lil strip. Too bad they dont.
