i dont understand all this debate over it being an ss or a z28. if u want an ss then buy one, other buy the z, save some $$ to put towards mods. although our cars are worth jack **** i myself would much rather own a genuine first gen ss than a base camaro with ss badges etc on it. however i think a z28 done correctly with the retro type or badgeless with the hood and spolier looks very nice and i would do it if i owned one. but why advertise a car as something its not.

haha i feel ur pain i got family in Waterbury, most of them own FWD cars just cause of all the damn snow...

I dont get all this bs about being a SS or whatnot, so you guys are saying i should have spent the $7-9k more, to get some wheels, hood, spoiler, SS exhaust and lid? uh sorry but i dont think so,I for one, enjoy not having a car payment... If I was wanting to get a car and leave it all stock i would have gotten a SS but knowing that my car wasnt going to be stock i just got a Z28...If the owner of a SS decided to debadge or put Z28 badging on his car would that make his car any different? I could see a reason if the Z28 and SS had a different motor or tranny, but they dont, its just appearance...To a person that has never seen my car they point out my car as a Camaro SS, because it looks like a Camaro SS not a Z28...If you have 2 cups filled with water, both cups look different but both have the same thing in them, you change one of the cups to be identicle of the other one...is that still being a poser? i think not folks...

oh and another thing, i thought the SS was listed as Camaro Z28/SS? correct me if im wrong...

the option sheet that is more than twice as long. not to mention it comes with the hood, spoiler, wheels, exhaust standard that are not even available on a z28. anyone can buy things aftermarket and make the car look the way they want, but stock for stock an ss is nicer than a z any and everyday of the week. and more highly wanted because of that. the nissan titan and armada have the same motor/ tranny--are they the same vehicle? no.

My e-dick is bigger than urs....grow up man...i could careless if u think a SS is better in every way, yah it is stock for stock but i think my car is more deserving because i put more time and effort into making her look the way she does, a titan an armada, wtf...one is a truck and one is a suv, u cant compare them....im not even going to argue over this....check the pics out, if u have some good feedback let me know, if not shadddup.

Dude chill the hell out!

You complain about them saying the SS is better, and you fight back saying your Z28 is "more deserving because i put more time and effort into making her look the way she does".........????? By putting SS wheels on it? Is the SS hood and wing next on the list, along with the badges? I mean come on dude, you're contradicting yourself here.
Look at the pics of SS owners, are we not deserving? I put ALOT of hard work, blood, sweat, tears, and money into both of my cars.

If ALL of you would like to see the differences between the Z28 and the SS here are my window stickers:

Read what the SS option ($3,950) has to offer:

This is the 2nd GM window sticker:

The 3rd window sticker is the SLP window sticker:

If you like the way that the Z28 looks then cool. But if you want to change some things on your Z28 like an SS hood and wing, then go for it. But please put the SS badges on it, it looks funny with the Z28 badges on it.

NOW, if you're hanging out with the car group and what not, call it what it is.....an SS clone. People have been doing this for years, look into the 1st gens and you'll see.
BUT, if you happen to put it up for sale, make sure the buyer knows that it is a Z28 SS clone.

Peace,
Craig.

I could careless.... a little smack talk never hurts...

and the car already has a SS hood and SS spoiler, used to have chrome Z06 wheels on it, but i traded them with my friend (TRMIN8R)
