Default Cammin Idle Clip

Just got the cam put in last weekend and got her fired up. This clip was taken with a regular digital camera so the quality isn't all that great but see what you think.

This is the emblem on the nose:

As far as power, hard to say without numbers but it definately gained, especially on the bottle! Pulls a lot harder up top but it gained throughout the entire powerband.

Well, the camera that the video was taken with doesn't do it any justice, it sounds choppier than the video shows in person. That T/A sounds good!!! What cam was that?

It hasn't been to the track yet with these tires so I don't have any 60ft times yet, but they hook like hell on the street! Without even heating them up on good concrete, I can roll about 25-30 and drop the hammer sprayin the 150 and not spin. On my stock goodyears I can cut them loose on the bottle on the highway. So that should give you a good idea.

I wouldn't buy anything else, they say that nittos last longer but they don't hook as good and odds are you'll be buying new tires at least once a year anyways. At least around here.

Ya, that guy has a lot of cool looking emblems and SS/Z28 replacement emblems. A few of my buddies around here have different emblems from the same guy on ebay and they have all been really good quality! We got them in about 3 days too!

How are the DR's on the rear end? I have a stock rear and I have done some mods and am driving on TOYO T1-S' and they break loose at will. Do you think the Mickey's are ok for spirited driving on the street and for longevity of the rear and no I don't have $ to rebuild or replace the rear. Answers would be greatly appreciated. Can anyone help me solve my dilema?

Well, I dunno from personal experience, but I have a buddy that broke his 10 bolt on the street...well, it was a "prepped street" But he also had a set of 3.73s with a 3k stall spraying a 125 shot. I know that a lot of the longevity depends on (besides the obvious) m6 or a4 and stock gears, I've seen guys make a lot of power through an a4 running 10s without a problem with their stock rear, the only thing they might have done is a cover girdle. On the other hand I've heard of guys breaking their rear with a stock or close to with a m6. It's almost a coin toss really. Just be somewhat gentle launching from a dead stop and you should be alright. It's just hard to because the mickeys bite so good

i broke my stock rear shifting into second very hard with my t 56 in my 98 Z28, and after 3 rebuilds with better parts I was finally smart, and just had to work some overtime, and save up for a used moser 9 inch. Found one here for 1600, and it was almost 3,000 new with all of the upgrades that it had on it. TRUST ME ON THIS, IF YOU HAVE A M6 CAR, DO NOT DO IT UNTIL YOU UPGRADE!
