for 4 turbo's I'm not too overly impressed, only 25 pounds of boost, they can get that out of 1 turbo thats not even all that big, they could have saved themselves a bunch of time by just plopin a supercharger on top, 2100 respectible but I've seen much more out of regualr old doorslammers

you guys need to remember that 25psi on a single turbo probably wouldn't be the same amount of CFM as 25psi on those 4. The size of the turbo is also important, not just the pressure.

It shook the tires real hard so they aborted the run, the second pass it dropped a valve. I dont think they ever tried it again with the quad turbos. I think they later on sold the motor to Mike Bowman in California, put twins on it and he had alot of succes with it.
That's exactly what happened.

While difficult to discern it seems the turbos are placed sequentially. This allows one turbo usually smaller to spool a larger turbo after the first one develops boost. This is the sort of turbo system found stock on twin turbo supras and RX7 s. It allows quicker boost response by spooling the smaller turbo for low end grunt then using the boost of the smaller turbo to spool the larger one for higher rpm power. When you're using large turbos like that camaro is it seems like it would work quite well.

I'm impressed by the HP and Torque numbers, but dissapointed that they never got any full runs out of it. If you spent alll that money and time developing that thing I'm sure you'd spend the little bit of extra money to fix it to get at least one run out of it and see what all that work was worth.

Are you serious? Those are parallel turbos, not sequential, if they were sequential, there would only be 1 down pipe on each side. each turbo is running off of 2 cylinders

PSI is pretty much meaning less, 20psi on a 16g is not the same as 20psi on a gt35. It's all about CFM. Believe me when I tell you those 4 turbos at 25PSI are pushing a TON more CFM then most turboed cars.

In any case.. Thats a whole lot of piping.. I love it..

I don't know if you guys noticed, but that is the chassis and body that W2W used for their first 6-second LS1 motor.
