Default F13 Z28 vs. MS3 SS

This is a video of me and my friend racing. He has a z28 with F13 cam and quite a bit of weight reduction (scales showed close to 3200lbs). I have the MS3 cammed SS at full weight and a 9in rearend.

Due to our cars being sooo loud we had trouble hearing the horn so on the first race i got the jump and in the second race he got the jump.

Either way they were close races. In the video i picked on him a little bit for having a popped collar...haha.

Camera is in my car. (SS)

The 2nd run was a good race. Very equally matched cars.

Makes you wonder why some go with monster cams, when the smaller cams can keep up with them. :hmm:

What exhaust are on those cars? Sounds great, and good runs.

I wonder what my car sounds like from the outside.

haha...the way everyone talks about the MS3, you would have thought it would have raped the car..lol. Nice runs. Guess the size of the cam doesn't always make the car.

Ummm... i guess nobody payed any attention to my comments.

The Z28 with the F13 weighs 250-300lbs lighter than my car (the SS with the MS3).

Plus the Z28 has Z06 maf and bbk 80mm tb. I still have stock tb and maf on my SS.

The Z28 was having some trouble with his y-pipe so he had it off so he was pretty much running straight headers.

I have LT's true duals with custom 3in x-pipe and Magnaflow XL mufflers.

Thanks for the compliments.

Why did you guys decide to race from a 50mph roll? And I can't help but comment on the Z28's ppor choice in rims and rear panel.

though weight is important from a roll it makes very little difference due to the fact the car is already in motion.
