No love for the French, but if you watched the game you would have to admit that France jerked Italy around the field most of the game...Italy was playing for PK's from about the 60min mark on. The best team today did not win, but congrats to Italy on a good tournament.

the better team doesn't always win, and I'll stand by that through and through. I'm not a fan of the french at all but they stuck it to Italy last 30-40 minutes of regulation and gave everything they had just to keep France out of the box just so it would go to PK's. I think France was the better all around team today, just ended up with an unlucky crossbar hit on a PK.... and don't forget 1 foot difference on Zidane's header woulda changed the entire game....
You are correct, Looks like France played better from the 2nd half untill the end, but the reason it looks like that is because thats how Italy plays, the team with the best deffense in the history" once they see that they dont have offensive players they play on their side, but nothing passes them

italy sucks. they are a bunch of babies. they are the most dramatic actors i have ever seen. when they get touched they fall over and cry until they get a call or not, then they are right back up like nothing happened. i think france played way better than italy. and zidane gave that italy player something to whine about. i cant believe germany lost to those wimps. i wanted to see them win.
