Yea I've seen a couple of other vids of TT Cobra's making 1000+ fairly easy. If it didn't make at least that I'd probably be pissed too.


CUBANGUY- there's a lot of places they could bring it and get their clocks cleaned, I'm sure they know their place. 1000+hp in a 6sp is not going to be "that" impressive in a actual drag race. It sounded to me like they've got some local grudges to take care of first, no doubt on the interstate

Dyno numbers mean nothing. I want to see it run at the track and bust into the 9's with that six speed then I would be impressed because with all that turbo piping and extra weight that car is easily over 4,000LBS. There 3800 from the factory so

 

Wrong. They're 3,655lbs from the factory.

Guys are running 9's @ 145mph easily with turbo kits on stock motors
with only 800rwhp....T56 and the IRS too. Piece of cake.

I haven't seen many 800rwhp Cobra's go 10's....much less 9's "easily." Maybe you can provide an insight into this?

 

I saw it in person yesterday, my friend works there, and its probably him posting the video. BTW, I wouldn't be scared to run it. It would be so far infront of me no one would even know I was racing it

It takes about 600rwhp to hit 10.80's @ 130-132mph.

Question...who are you? You obviously know me. What, am I "the car" to race down here now or something? IS that what it is? I hope not. I would hope there's ALOT more cars down here that could beat MY car. That said...I was just recently INVITED your guys shop, at D'agostino....by my friends there.... they gave me a private tour of your shop,....and I did see the Cobra. I have an accurate knowedge of that car, as I have been following it's progress for a couple of years now. I knew that car when it had a Kenne Bell. It wasn't scary to me then......and honestly, although it's pumping out more power than I am....I'm really not scarred of it now. I know that it has a solid axle, and weighs about 3200lbs. I know what the deal is.

One thing.

Your drivers simply can't bang gears like we can. everytime i'm around your bunch,....all they do is tell me where nuts...or how do we do that? Get off my nuts already and learn how to drive your vehicle like a man. I'm not talking about derek here,...or danny....just some other stupid ******* that hang out with you that have power in their cars. Who knows, maybe your one of them. Thing is, the only guys I know that hang out with them, that I KNOW that has a Z28, is my friend.
