I would guess something (oil, coolant, etc) on the track. Notice his tires are locked up but no squeal or smoke. Just a small patch of something on the track may go unnoticed by offcials until something like this happens.

I don't think his line lock had anything to do with it. You can see that his front wheel is turning when he launches. It doesn't matter if you hit the line lock while you're driving because it holds the line pressure...so...if you don't hit the brake, then the line lock won't do anything. I know 'cause I've tried. :-)
