Re: F-50 crash video
Uuuumm, did anybody else notice that the car is going off at a different angle in each scene? From the first camera the guy gets hit and goes up the driver side, then the car drops off drivers side down. Then the second camera shows the dude getting hit on the passenger side, and the car goes off at almost a strait head-on angle. Is this some kinda fake computer made video or WTF?

Re: F-50 crash video
You can see that he panicked, and locked up the brakes, thats all. you can turn the wheel as much as you want with the fronts locked and it wont go where you want it.

Re: F-50 crash video
It is very crappy footage. Real, who knows?
The outside of the vehicle footage is LR reversed. Note the signs "CAMPARI" vs "IRAPMAC", the number on the car is reads ok. So that explains all the angle confusion. Why am I always the smart one?
It was either a mechanical failure or the person had only piloted a bicycle all their life up to this point. Yeah, I am being harsh.
Also watch carefully and you can see the driver cranking on the steering wheel to the right, but it should be near its R lock, but the front L wheel is appears nearly straight ahead.
Does anyone count him being 1.5 turns past center? And what happened to the brakes. The brake lights are on for part of the footage, but the car slows only when it crashes.
Moral of the story, do not stand to the front of moving vehicles.
Lastly snuffx.com is NOT a work friendly site nor tasteful in the least.

Re: F-50 crash video
Looks likes the guy panicked and had his foot on the gas and the brakes at the same time. This would lock the front wheels and prevent steering while the rear tires would keep pushing the car forward.
The old guy should practice learning how to drive with a fiero instead of the ferrari.
