u can see he didn't have a line lock cuz everytime he'd shift gears his rear tires would stop spinning which would me he was heel/toeing it. anyone have some eggs handy??? I wanna cook 'em on his brakes.

it really wasn't that great of a burn out cuz of the puss that was driving, it's a 2002 5.3 automatic with an aftermarket rearend. basically it's a turd. MARC'S A SWIMMER...need I say more?

His brakes won't be hot because he wasn't even touching them. Notice how the brake lights arn't lighted up. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> You can see right before he does the burnout, that he releases the brakes as indicated by the brake lights dimming. Also the reason the tires stop spinning is because of our little friend called friction. It's not like the tires are going to gradually slow down like when coasting to a stop, the hot rubber will make them grab right away. Obviously he had line lock on. <img border="0" alt="[shoot]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" />

Well I guess I can answer all questions cause is was me doing it. It was at SLP Customer Appreciation Days at Ennis, TX. Yes I do have line-lock. Yes I hit 4th gear. No - no cutout. SLP long tubes and Loud mouth. Have done many burnouts - have a buddy who gets me old 16" tires to burn up for the events. I tried 5th earlier but my clutch wouldn't hold!! <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

im just trying to figure out why you were shifting into each gear??? each time you did it your tires stopped spinning.... why not just start out in 4th?

I actually go through the gears more for the croud. Most cars in burnouts are automatics and have a hard time getting outa second gear, you know this by listening to the car. But when I go throught he gears you can hear all 4 gear I go through - so you know I'm in 4th and can imagine "how fast does 4th gear go?" Well it goes about 130mph with a 3.42 rear. I just love having fun and hearing that crowd cheer and screem. God love it all

My door was open in my dorm room and like ten kids came down and watched it. I had to bust out the mop and mop up the floor from drool.
