hey guys, i came accross this last night. its a clip from the 1970's i believe. these guys must not of had safety issues of today and a death wish. ill give you an over view, but the vid speeks for itself.

dare devil+rocket powered lincon+ 1 mile river= you guessed it.

That is absolutley ridiculos. What an idiot. No car is going to fly through the air like he wanted it to. I do like the attempt of putting the wings on the car though. One hell of a ride!

What an ***. There was another guy that strapped jettison rocket packs from a military aircraft to his car and lit them off. he went down the road and went airborne and hit the side of a mountain at an estimated speed of like 325 MPH.

I remember Myth Busters did a show on that. I think they proved that was wrong.

the G's part has to be a typo. most airforce piolets who are trained in a professional, controled setting will pass-out around 8 G's. either way, it sure looked like one hell of a ride.

No there really was some jackass that did it. The packs were off of a C-130 or similiar military plane.
