People who are still calling it a pig just don't know what else to say. Who gives a flying **** how much a car weighs if it can go 9's at 140+mph on a 6spd tranny?

My raceweight is about 3600 pounds so I guess I'm a pig to...lol...I'm impressed with any street car that runs 9's, but my only complaint is that they are hiding some of the mods.

some weight reduction? Isn't the curb weight almost 4000lbs stock? Is the car now 3600lbs with driver?

At any rate, I agree. This car is fast as hell!

To an extent. What I'm referring since the shop that backed it. Just find it hard to believe a 3600lb car went 9's with only 664hp. I would say 10.20's to 10.40's but either this shop is not telling the real weight of the car or the real #'s it layed down on the rollers. Maybe the DA was -1000ft... I don't know.

Well I respect fast cars regaurdless of weight, but you do have to consider it since it is a HUGE factor.

man pulley tune and that other crap adn u can make nearly 700 rwhp. I woudl assume by the way they wrote the mods in that clip that the mods produced the 660 hp and then had the nitrous on top of that. Beats me though. I sure hope GM builds a God damn bomb proof engine one of these das so we can say we do 9's on a stock engine and have nothign to worry about. With a good tune of coarse. Oh well..

Not trying to take away anything from evolution performance, but there is a guy on SVTPerformance with 3.73's, tune, axel back exhaust, and pulley swap who has gone 11.8 @ 125 I believe on street tires (not drag radials). I think he put down 553rwph and 505 tq... pretty damn impressive considering the small amount of mods. Im expecting evolutions car to go mid 9's blower only with the KB 2.8. On the spray its possible they may be able to crack a high 8 off, but I think it will be unlikely with the stock 6spd. I'm also curious to see with their new GT500 they recently got.
