Default In car vid going 189 MPH...

...in a 1977 VW Rabbit

All the info I have is that the car was built in France, is a two door rabbit, and it runs a VW 1.8L or 2.0L 16V with a turbo boosted to 26-28psi.

I don't think it matters what your in if your doing that speed, your dead if it crashes.

Also, I'd rather be spinning my front wheels over the rear in 4th gear at 200km/h .

Why all the hating on the Rabbit? It seems to hold up pretty well. They handle awesome, stop well and are really light. Why not?

Only thing is they're shaped like bricks, so it actually takes a good bit of power to push them through the air.

I've personally been in a 300whp Scirocco (same chassis) and it seemed perfectly stable at 240kph...once we ~260kph, the car started to float a bit
