What's The Best Camera
Since it looks like you're just shooting for fun its not that big of a deal, but Im always afraid of a card corrupting on me, have yet to have it happen (knock on wood) but Id much rather have a 2 gig card go bad with 100 shots on it than a 8 gig with 500

And Ive never had one go bad, but I do have a few photog friends that have had cards go bad, and they lost some money making it up to the client.
that cannon is a nice camera. i work in the walmart photo center and sell that cannon for $198.
i just recently (2 weeks ago) bought a nikon D40x 10.2MP DSLR and a 55-200mm lens and a 18-55mm lens and i love taking pics. i also have an 8GB SD card that i got on ebay for $38. translates to 1800 pics with a newbie to DSLR. i think it's easy to use. paid $817 after discount with body and lens.
