Rally drivers are only given occasional hazzards and directions in text with arrows, and rarely drive the course beforehand. They also only go off of what they see at the time and what the co-driver is screaming at them the entire time. Co-driver misses a turn, the driver misses a turn.
in car videos also look a lot faster than out of car videos.... meh

My g/f tells me my car is fast and i tell her, "Are you kidding me? There are street-legal cars out there that will be pulling back around to the pits before my car even begins to think about passing the 60 ft mark."
Like you said, fast to one person may be completely different for another person.
I think the day i find out what "Too fast" truely is, will be the day i die. Or end up with a hefty medical bill anyway.

There's no way that vid is sped up. I can tell by the way his heads bobs around with the bumps, the way his hand moves from the steering wheel to the shifter, the way the ribbons are moving in the breeze at mid-track etc. The acceleration coming off of the corners would probably cause internal bleeding
