I would like to be able to edit my digital video and post some vids. What program would you recommend for a beginner.

Windows Media Maker is free with XP. It's included.

I don't run XP, so I use Ulead's Video Studio. It was included (free) with a Rosewill Firewire card that I purchased ($8 - needed to hook to my MiniDV camera). I've been ripping home movies from tape to computer, and then making DVDs out of them. Bought a 400GB drive 2 weeks ago... bought another one this week.
