Straight from his GT1 class victory at Le Mans, Jan Magnusson shortly thereafter at the Nuremburg Ring came up with speed. With the Corvette Z06, should the track record fall great advertising for the new sports Corvette. However, more than a good 7:40 wasnt in it. The North Loop record for Series Cars is still held by a Donkervoort RS: 7:18:01.

Jurgen Alzen and his brother are the ****. That car is so bad ***. AWD 996 GT2. They have a few insane cars as a matter of fact. Including a hand in a 997 Turbo, shooting for 250MPH. Title shot for the worlds fastest street legal car.

That's a big negative. The Porsche did both tracks. Z06 wouldn't touch that by any stretch of the imagination. What that P did in 9 flat is stoopendous! I know I frequent the place all the time.

I was pretty sure Jurgen Alzens' brother held the record for his class on the Nordschleife at 8.09? Not sure if that's still the record.
