Default Good camera to buy! Need help...

Ok guys, I am need of a new digital camera...I had an Olympus C-50 which was ok but it just crapped out on me...

I would like a better camera this time around and wondered what you guys would suggest....I am no pro photographer so I don't need something really too expensive....but I don't want a POS either....

Any/All suggestions would be great!

Thanks!

Can't go wrong with one of the Canon Powershot range. Good quality images and good value. I have a Powershot A620 7mp which has an SLR style to the body. I was torn between it and the S70 when I came to buy last year. These models have now been replaced by newer versions so you are sure to get a good deal on any exsisting stock. Here's a few I've taken (the images are scaled down but it still gives a good idea of what the camera does. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bigblackchevy/page2/

Whats your budget? I'm not a great photographer myself but I've owned about 9 different digital cameras varying with makes and models and I can tell you a couple of reviews on the one's I've owned if you'd like.

Under $300 would be nice...no more than $400

I have the Casio Exilim EX-Z600 and I absolutely love it. It takes amazingly good outdoor pics. In very low light it doesn't do great, but I don't take too many night shots, so it's not a problem. The battery is rated to last 550 pictures on a charge, and I can tell you it lives up to it. I have a 1 gig card in it, and there's never a problem filling up the card with 400+ pictures on a single charge.
