Hey BLUR...dont take this the wrong way, not being a smart ***, but why did they come out with an intake for the ls1 and ls2 for a carbed steup?? not being a smart ***. so any pics or video at all?? Please dont take my comment the wrong way!!

JK of course.
Tons of people actually run those with stock fuel injection and normal stock/90mm throttle bodies. They have the potential to flow more air than most of the stock-style manifolds, won't explode in a nitrous backfire, and seem to work better with FI cars.
Some people just like having carbs. Either it's for a racing class, they have a ****-ton of experience in tuning them, or they just look old-school under the hood of a hot-rod.

Old Farts.....lol you know whats funny? im 19 years old...fuel injection of a 67 camaro might be just a bit out of my price range. i live in bowling green, ky and tuning carbs is like a way of life. But i do understand what you are saying though.

Thanks BLUR. i found a site called turbomustangs.com. it has been really helpful. they have their own chevy engine portion of the forum. check it out. heres a link to a very detailed build that i have been watching:
