I have no clue who i just read through 29 posts and everyone seems to think there is something wrong with teh car. The popping is a stutter box. It spools up the turbo when teh engine isnt makin power. So when u on teh line about to launch u have full boost immeaditly. And when he was shifting it was doin teh same tohing to keep ti spooled. Every WRC car has this same thing and it makes driving a turbo car like drivin a Roots style blown car. The power is instant and its insane. Granted he was a little over teh top with how much of the popping he recorded adbn a burnout in dirt isnt exactly impressive, the car other wise sounded cool. GL

A turboed VR6 will own most F-bodies if tuned right. Unless you have built LS making 400whp, you'll have nothing on it (from a roll).
Though that is not my Corrado, I too have a turboed Raddo VR6. My Z has nothing on it when its on boost.
Also, yes, that is the anti-lag. Makes a turbo car instantly boost, but burns up exhaust valves quick.
Maybe I should have titled this thread "How to scare your neighbors".

Lol. It's anti lag. Lot's of turbo cars do it. It's a launch program that delivers full boost sitting still. Hence all the smoke build up before it starts popping.

Personally I thought the popping was a little excessive, car sounded like damn near any other VW I've ever heard, just not a fan. Sorry.-J
