I don't know if we're just allowed to post requests or whatever, but I thought I would post a few of the sig pics I've done for my local car club in Oklahoma. (OKGMP) I'm curious what you guys on a nationwide board think about them.
I take a LOT longer to make mine because I'm still getting the hang of the finer skillz of Photoshop CS3. What I'm trying to work on now is uploading new fonts to make the sig pic look a lot better. Those fonts below are lame.

thanks man, its undergoing some appearance changes as soon as its warm enough...cme is already on, valance in coming in any day now, has some black with polished lip zo6 motorsports on it now, all side markers and turn signals are going to be blacked out, taillights blacked out, headlights will either be either black halos or whistler mod, might be doin some stripes like manta or anniversary style ones...
thanks. I'd say an average of 2 hours each. Because I did them for friends on my local board and gave them at least 5-8 options for them to choose from and let them change things up that they didn't like. And I always erased the background around the car because I never knew what the lasso tool could do. I have to start messing around with that.

i dont really see to much that you could do better ... i've done a ton of sigs for people back on my mustang board (when i still had a stang) and i dont really know too many tricks except that layers are your friend with photoshop...and i am by no means an expert but i have pulled some pretty sick sigs...i like to cut the cars out first and any other main objects first and then start throwin it all around with different transparencies and backgrounds and stuff...come spring time im going to finish my appearance mods and whip up a nice sig or two...if i get some free time i'll start working on some of these requests on here cuz i've noticed this is basically a place to put requests and never get any results...

If you look back just a few pages, you'll see that there were about 4 guys doing the sigs and the main 2 have been doing them for the past 100 pages or so. I spent 3 days going over each post in this HUGE thread getting ideas and downloading backgrounds and such. (yes, I'm a dork) I hope those 2 guys come back and work on some more because I know that I will never be able to do what they do. I'm getting better, but I can't quite do those color changes or wheel chops yet. Not sure how they do those!

if i had photoshop for vista i could do a lot more sigs but i only have it on my xp desktop and i hardly use that computer anymore...so if anyone knows where i can get a version of photoshop for a vista let me know

BTW, I don't know if PS CS4 is compatible with Vista or not, but I think it is.

did you have to buy it or did you find it for download?...or if theres a way you can send it to me or something let me know...i got my other photoshop on my xp computer from my buddy who downloaded it from limewire lol
