Default need simple opinions please..........Pics

hey all....

i'm up for grabs on weather or not this looks or (in a good way)?!?!?! i have another rearend going in that is 1/2" narrower/side that will pull them in that much, but push the limits of having to switch to a rear coilover conversion $$$. if i do that, then i'll just have the rearend going in narrowed 2" per side and really tuck it in. right now, i'd rather not spend the cash unless the overwhelming vote is . please be honest.

thanks,
Dave

btw......i know the car is filthy, but it's been in a warehouse uncovered for almost 5 months, and there's still snow in the forecast!

The wheel's and tires look sick, but I'm not a fan of all of tires sticking past the wheel wells. If they could tuck in it would look so good. As it sits now its a no go in my book. I'm sorry it just looks kinda trailer park mullet style.

ya they do stick out a bit far, but it really wouldn't bother me enough to spend time or money enough to fix.

the back are fine. The front are retarded unless your on the track. I dont understand why you would ever want those except for on a drag track. The sae style rims but more than a 3 inch width would look nice. Some chrome pony rims would lookk perfect. Ive always wanted a midnight blue hatchback foxbody with chrome oem 97 mustang gt pony rims and two 3 inch chrome slant tips sticking out the back and thats it besides a nice loud exhaust. IMO thats the perfect mustang

I think it looks sick so I voted tuff. I got a newbish question tho I'm guessin you didnt get them tires just to look pretty driving round town so at teh strip even after the narrowing will the tires get messed up when u launch? like the car hunkering down and just hamburgering em?

I vote tuff i like the look. Any problems with rubbing on very hard launching? If so i guess you will be narrowing or fixing your suspension some.

I'm not a real big fan of the tires sticking out that far either. If they fit flush I would like alot more. I still went "tuff" cause I like the draglites, but I really like the 96-98 GT wheels.

like i said, with the new rear they'll come in another 1/2"/side, taking them from 1.5" to 1" sticking out. my best economical choice is to sell them and get a smaller set. they're growing on me a little though, just have to see how they'll look with the new rear.

i haven't driven on them yet Mcheap, so not sure how they'll do. i'm putting an airbag in each spring to try to keep the fenders off the tires too.

thanks to all for the honesty, keep it coming.

Not too bad, but if it were me...I would tuck 'em in the wheel wells.
You should narrow the rear end.

ok, thank you all for your oppinions. i just picked up a brand new set of 275/60/15's off a local member here, so no further input is needed. they're the same diameter, 28", but they'll fit inside the wheel wells like they're supposed to. if i had the cash, i would have made those 325's fit, but it's not worth it to me. again, thanks.

Good decision. I didn't like them at all. Extremely Mullet IMHO. I was suprised to see that many people voted tuff.

if you've seen the car before, you've never seen it like this. it's in elk grove and this is the first time it's had Welds on it. it had '96 GT rims just like in my sig pic. i've been told though that someone named ttvert or something on chitown did an ls1/blue fox swap, but i've never been able to find pics of that one. i should probably look him up just to get a pic of his car to see why so many people mistake mine for his, no that i'm saying you are.
