You can get all kinds of **** for 12 valves, injectors, governor springs, diffrent injector pumps, torque plates ( or just take it out) All kinds of **** but the newer ones you have the option of adjusting the power on the fly.

Quite a few people droping cummings into older F-250's and all. There is a local one around here. From what I understand its easier to make them faster and make more power then the power stroke.

Not a fan of big truck racing though.

Nice pics and video of the dyno day. As far as not being able to get much parts for the 12 valve Cummins, that is not true. A few weeks ago, I went to a dyno day and there was a Dodge with a 12 valve Cummins in it that made 1,218rwhp and 2,000+ft.lbs. torque. That run was on nitrous, but its non nitrous pulls were somewhere close to 1,000rwhp. Then there's Richard "Mad Dog" Madsen with his '95 F350 crewcab powered by a really built 12 valve Cummins. I watched that thing make 1,117rwhp at the same dyno day. That truck runs 10s in the quarter mile and its a daily driver. There's an article about it in the newest issue of Diesel Power magazine.
