I hope they can find a way to make it spool on the line with a pro tree. What good is running 8's when you have to deal with a r/t that's almost a second and a half? You could be beaten by a 10 second car on a bad run for crying out loud.

Isn't that about a normal R/T for a lot of imports? J/K, but many of them are sleepers on the tree. Stupid mph for sure.

Damn, that thing looked like it was in FF till he got about the 1/8. 166mph is just crazy, there is no way in hell that thing is streetable. The turbo is hanging out the front bumper god goodness sakes.

Yes the backend did hop around. All that energy has to go somewhere i guess.

AMS does build some badass EVO's though. That black one was kickin some major *** a couple of years ago. Till that 68' Camaro on the bottle broke his *** OFF!!

it's not hard to get a good r/t. all the driver would do is start the anti-lag while the car is pre-stage, and as it hits the boost move it into the second set of beams and go from there.

the car works just fine off a pro tree...today he cut a .06 r/t on one of the runs.

the car is NOT streetable...unless you made a cover for the turbo and put an exhaust on it...then it would drive just fine. it wouldn't be very comfortable but it could be done. the car makes 1015whp.

oh and by the way he backed it up today with a run...8.564@168.6Mph

5.66 1/8th et.
134 1/8th mhp
8.564 et.

Makes me wish I still had my 1990 Eclipse GSX....I think if I would of stayed on the import side it would be running 9's now....

Nothing like racing an import and blowing the doors off some OLD SCHOOL ride....
