It will be possible once the Generation X LSx motors come out.

But seriously, stuff like this really gets the brain working. What really gets ya thinking is what created the Universe? Does it go on forever? Does the universe end? And if it ends, how does it end? Is it a wall? Who put the wall there? lol what would be on the other side of that wall? More space? Ashton Kutcher telling us we've all been PUNk'D? You get my point When you break it down, we really know nothing about the universe. Which is both scary and cool at the same time.

Thats the question I always wonder about. Maybe we are just part of something really really small and the whole universe is something so small it looks like a spec in a microscope. Just gets you thinking when you think about the size of it and where it all came from.

maybe our universe is part of billions of other universes, Each universe containing billions of galaxys. And those billions of universes are all part of a living cell on a being, When that cell dies its the end for those billions of universes.

Good stuff, lots and lots of pictures with a brief explanation for it.
Thanks for that link!!! I used to look at it a few years ago but lost the link.

Also if you think there isnt any other forms of life in the Universe you are insane. Its an awful waste of space if there wasnt anything else alive dont you think?

Edit: How does the sun come into play with ALL these galaxies? There's still only one sun or is the sun just in our galaxy? I don't get it anymore.
I suppose if you could travel faster then the speed of light, you would "go back in time". But if you think about it, you would be going into the future at the same time, to a place light hasnt been.

Yea this **** is pretty crazy. They're supposed to be working on a new telescope that can see the "Begining of time". They're just wondering whats after that.

Good vid, been watchin the series "The Universe" on the History Channel and would recommend it if you are not already watching it.

Last week the subject was about galaxies and one of the things that is still hard to grasp is that they are more stars in the universe than there is grains of sands in all the worlds beaches, thats hard to grasp.

Yes. I will go ahead and chime in, since I came up. There is indeed other life in the universe. There you go.

thats kinda something i think about too.. our whole "UNIVERSE" could be just one little "atom" part of infinite amount of other tiny "atoms" if u get what im saying....
its scary to think about we cant relate it to anything, and our brains cant comprehend the distance between galaxies...

Ill tell you what I looked at this thread yesterday and have been glued to youtube ever since that is some absolutely crazy ****. One problem though no matter how great it is to make up theories on this subject. The only problem is that no one will ever really know how the universe started, but someone has to be right, I only hope that I will be around long enough to find out what really goes on in the universe. Maybe X-Files was right.

Even if we did find other forms of life, there would be no way of communicating with them anyways. It would take years for them, just to recieve a message.

All I have to say is that is a MASSIVE ammount of energy. They need a few new big bang theories now. One release of energy to develope our galaxy alone is crazy to think it happend from nothing in nowhere with zero matter/time/space but for it to release enough energy to create all them is childish. Breathtaking in every way. 78 Billion LY's across. There is a creator for sure.

to give you all a idea of how big the whole thing is...

the chances are there is millions and millions of earths even humans living on them calling there planet earth speaking english..

Think of a life form in your head what is looks like human, monster, alien whatever... how it lives...what it eats...etc... the chances are the universe is so damn big, that life form you thought about in your head is out there somwhere... thats how big it is... its endless. put it this way for every spec of sand on this earth there is a galaxy x10 and them specs of sand has millions of solar systems just like ours..

The human race is nothing special at all when you look at it on that kind of scale.
