If people are going to drive so far to participate, why didn't they pick a remote area? I live in STL and there is plenty of 4 lane concrete outside of the metro area.

exactly, there are some definite dead spots in missouri that would be great for racing. i'm sure they picked it cuz it was somewhere in the middle for everyone, but come on...could of easily found a dead 2 lane road where they could of done this.

I see your point, and if you do a search of my posts theres plenty of videos of me street racing, but most of them are from a roll. Im just saying if ive got 12k on the line in a dig race, i want to do it in a more controlled environment with a tree and someplace where i wont have to worry (as much) about losing traction and crashing into a lightpole.

trailer cars on x-mas??? lets see you drive your car 650+ miles and be ready to race....

they were on trailers because of the long haul. no one wants to drive their car that far and potentially have a flat on the side of the road 600 miles from home....ESPECIALLY....on one of your slicks!!!

now im sure these tx and ok boys would LOVE to run you or any of your buddies. but i think you are gonna have to prove that you have some cars that are worthy first....

Allot of old school, 20 year street guys really do not care what anyones opinion of a street car or a street race is. They just pull up and hope they brought enough. Really interesting group of guys.

If you Compton boys need a place to hang lemme know. We have at least one mutual friend, I have recent vids in my possesion that prove the quality of the hardware out there. You guys straight get down out there on the West Coast. I know some people that would be very interested in knowing if you were gonna pull to Texas or Ok.

I heard the Nova is getting mufflers this month.
