not really for sure. Made 10 passes at the track the day this happened. Took a friend for a ride that evening and it just went just as I got into drive gear. I think either a rod gave way and took out the piston which took out everything in it's path or it went lean and the piston came apart. The air was pretty cool and I was spinning it to 6900.

not sure. I still want to run 10's N/A on DR's with stock displacement. figured I would do a forged 346 and take some more wieght out of it. I run in a heads up drag racing series and the 11.10 class is what I want to be competitive in. I had to sandbag the 11.70 class this year.

I laughed my *** off when I saw this.^^^^^ Pretty bad when a spark plug flicks you off. I would have loved to see your face when you pulled that plug. Pirate3 says, "What the hell, now a plug is flicking me off." Sorry for the carnage.

Yeah but I've been running it that high or higher the last couple months. I made 62 passes in the last 4 months. I think a rod stretched and a valve took out the top of the piston. I was pushing it with my P/V clearance.
