So does the air get cooled before it enters the charger, or after? Looks funny cause the heat exchanger is higher than the charger. I thought they would under it like the Cobras.

That is what i thought too, that the intercooler needs to be at the bottom. The intercooler does look like it is on top. You think it will be better then the mag S/C. I cannt wait to see what kind of #'s it puts down.

You know I would have thought they would've put the supercharger on a LS7 7.0 block but it seems like they used the LS3 6.2 Block

I believe the reason they did it to the 6.2 is because it would have been safer engine wise to make that power. Im sure the LS7 would have made more power with FI. But for a factory car i don't think the cylinder wall lining would have liked that very much.

I believe the SC pumps the air up instead of down. So the intercooler would be on top, this would allow for longer, better placed runners coming down from the top. Just my thought.

that thing looks like a nightmare to change a belt on!! But on the up side it has alot of wrap on the pulley, so hopefully belt slip wont be an issue

Two belts. the one on the AC and alternator is separate from the main belt. The main belt is thicker, you can see both on the crank.

That's exactly what I was thinking too.

Looks like 2 Laminova heat exchangers in there. Those are nice efficient units.
