Default My WS6 Vs. KB Cobra

I know the video pretty much sucks (I'm bored and forgot I had it on my computer), anyway A friend of mine and I went out to run on a very cold night in Colorado so traction was a problem for both of us.

first run the Cobra was in the near lane, 2nd run I was in the Near lane. we went 1 and 1 that night. The other 2 runs are just a civic and a talon

it was about 15-20 degrees out that night, and there was 10 minutes or so between runs. I think it had more to do with traction problems then anything.

Wow! You guys were racing when it was 15* out? No thanks.
How could either of you find any kind of traction?

I'm assuming that you're running much better than your "12 second club"
title suggests with that MS3 and nitrous. I would expect any KB Cobra
to run 10.90's @ 130+mph if it's modded and driven properly. You clearly
have a strong running car, which is why I think you're well out of the 12's.

That's not necessarily true. It depends on the mods. Mine runs better
of course when it's cool, but it ET's roughly the same when it's heat
soaked. Trap speeds are down a mph or so though.

well, that was awhile ago. and that was in Colorado at close to 6000feet where DAs are usually in the 7k's.

I haven't ran it at the track here in vegas, which is at I believe 2100 feet and of course gets hot as hell. so I'm not expecting much of an improvment.

I have ran a best of 11.8 @ 120 in CO. so I don't know what that would equal out to exactly at sea level

And yea, Traction was a big problem lol. the video sucks but you can hear us both pedaling to get traction

That pains me to hear that brother. That must be so frustrating.
I know a guy that makes 800rwhp in a damned near racecar
and he only runs a 10.50. Altitude is horrible.

The good news there is that you live in Vegas! I go there
6-7 times per year.

Only one way to find out!

I generally race with a DA around 2300-2500 feet even though my local
track is around 600' above sea level. I've never had the pleasure of
running at a track like E town with negative DA's...must be nice.

Whatever the case, nice looking ride and it looks like it runs hard.

Good runs I was hoping to see you keep up better. I got rid of my 04 cobra that was a 2.4KB car 17psi pump 24 psi race. On 24psi heat soak was bad (even with all the cooling mods) on 17psi it would rarely heat soak and never on a day that cold. Traction would be the real problem because it never wanted to hook, on race gas mine made 666 rwtq and hooking that was a bitch.

I am hoping my MS3 car with a 150 shot feels the same as my cobra. I may add heads we will see.
