Looks awesome and great location for pics, I ran into that area a couple days ago.

I cant wait till spring because daily driving my piece is getting idiotic. I backed up out of my driveway the other day and when I went into drive it just spun, threw it into reverse and it wasnt going anywhere. Had to have a couple of our renters help push me out

Im enjoying the decent weather recently though. when it was 40 outside the other night I drove around for awhile and ran into a Trailblazer SS. The guy pulled up next to me and I told him he had a bas *** car and I would love to have one. He wanted to race and I told him he would kill me...light turned green and I actually beat him pretty good and almost killed myself shifting into second lol. He had a friend with a supercharged Trailblazer SS behind him that embarrased me though.

Sorry for the thread hijack...Hope to see you at Bandimere this year so I can see your car in person!

Your not the only one who got owned by a Trailblazer SS!!! During the Fall Series up at Bandimere there was a silver and a black Trailblazer SS up there, and I was shocked by the numbers the black one produced!! I didn't get to see the Silver one run but I know the black Trailblazer ran low 13's!!

Funny **** because the first SS I ran was silver and the SS that had a bus on me at 80 was black...coincidence I dont know, he barely spun and I thought that was amazing, he had to have been running around 13's I would guess since mine is probably a mid 14's car. His supercharger was loud too.

The guy in the silver SS said the supercharged one was his buddy, funny **** when I beat the first one they both pull up next to me and the dude in the grey SS said I passed the first test now lets see if I pass the second...I knew I was screwed but if Mr. Luos was there the driver of the supercharged one would have been crying.

I just make enough power to make up for the serious lack of driving skill.
I need a tire that will hold up on 5500 RPM launches. The track changed so much this year. I had all kinds of traction issues until the last day of the season. Nothing changed all year long.
I would spin from 3500 early in 2007, but that last T&T night, I was hooking and bogging from 4700. It was packed and I knew I had one more pass, so I pushed the worn MT DR's a little and went from 5500. Spun to a 1.79 short.

^^ exactly!

So just out of curiousity how many runs can you normally get in during a day of T&T?

I have never been to the track so this **** should be embarrasing, I see crappy reaction times in the near future along with me spinning into the wall lol.

I know practice makes perfect so it should be fun.

It depends on when you get down there.
I am normally towards the front of the line when I go, so I get 6-7 in for a night.
If you are first through, I bet on an average night, you could get 8-9 passes.

If I have stayed outta the wall...you are fine.
First time I ran on the MT's it got a little loose into 4th gear....let off on that one. Wasn't ready for it...now I am kinda used to the slight wobble those soft tires give.

The Test and Tune nights suck traction wise (I know it's probably more fun) but on the days that they run the the regular series classes like Troyphy Jackpot, Run Tuff, Pro Et, Ext. the traction is much better and they vht the **** out of the track because the cars are typically faster, and on T&T nights most cars are running street tires which lays down rubber that is not as sticky as slicks~on the weekends if your running street tires they don't even let you launch in the grooves! And the classes are the same amount of money as test and tune!! and plus it's like real racing they do handicaps and you have to cut a good light and have your car has to run consistinly or you don't stand a chance in my opinion it's alot more fun and alot less crowded with a bunch of Tuners that don't know how to stage, drive or speak english!! They just dont do much if any track prep except on fri and sat. hope this helps

I agree.

But being an M6 and still learning the car, I am not very consistent. I tend to get knocked out in the first round.

I hear ya! My SS is an A4 and it's pretty consistent but my lights is where I struggle some times it will be a killer light and then I will be totally sleeping the next time!! and 50 percent of the people go home after the first round including me!! alot of it is luck too!! Nice pictures black is beautiful-just a pain! I've seen your video thread too-nice job I would have no clue how to even begin making a video-and the water scenes were cool!! Sounds good too!!
