Much can be said for artistic style and there are a few photographers out there that have used HDR processed files rather creatively, but by and large most photographers are using HDR as a “gee whiz neat” function that does nothing other than create throw away images worthy neither of repeat viewing or print.

I took these of a buddies 2005 Mustang GT HDR images with my 18-70 Nikkor. HDR Conversion & Tone Mapping done in Photomatix:
I'm pretty sure they will turn out a lot better with a car that's not black or white. Can't wait to start playing with it more now that I have Photomatix.
