Stock tb can handle a lot, but this is a great mod for any car. It is easy, and if you have a dremel kit, it is free.
Throttle response goes way up after the mod, and you can feel the difference. IMO, it was a bigger difference than a catback/lid combo. It took me almost a year before I did it, and I have no idea why.
Make sure you knife the throttle blade, and grind the tab to let it open up 90*. Looks like it is coming along great.

I wouldnt worry about the blade, doesnt do anything on the flowbench or the dyno. Its also a tad tricky if you have never done something like that before and if you take too much off it will have idle issues.
It looked at a couple threads of people porting them, Since my car is waiting for the tranny to be rebuilt, i figured id give it a try. Its free so its great. Its a lil time consuming if you want it to come out good, but its a nice project to keep you intertained. Everyone says throttle response gets increased alot and you get a few extra ponies.
