Default Bolt on 00 WS6 Vs. 99 Trans Am **Vid inside**

A couple roll races between me and a buddy of mine. I am the Black one. Video explains everything you need to know, enjoy. Both 6 speeds. Should I have got him by that much with just headers and tune over him?

Ha ha ha, we just wanted to see how we stacked up. I had never run another LS1 and I don't think he had either. Turned out good for me, but I do have long tubes, cutout, and a tune over him. Mine actually had a little bit left in it, the clutch was slipping like crazy. I need a new one soon!

I have a few more runs set up over this summer and maybe I will try and get a few of them on tape (in car). I have a 04 stock vette, 99 bolt on vette, 03 Mustang GT bolt on, 04 Mustang GT bolt on, stock 00 WS6, 99 Supercharged firebird V6, and a 00 bolt on WS6 that all want to run me. Wish me luck

ha ha ha ha, ahhh, the way my money situation is right now, 99 Supercharged V6 may take me, maybe? I hear he will be heavily modded this summer, where as I will probably still be where I am currently at. It will be an awesome race! We will tape it for the rest of you all.

Yeah, ported intakes, cam, intercooler, bump that psi up to 12 pounds and ill give you a run for your money. That wont be till after summer though, M5 swap and paying the car off is top of the list...that'll set me back pretty good in the financial department.

As for the owner of that silver T/A, I don't know where hes at, I think hes a little embarrassed after that thrashing haha.

Both sound stock as hell and why does everyone try to excuse their vehicles with the slipping clutch excuse. For all we know, it could be an automatic! Lol, j/k, seems like a nice stretch you guys have there

I got my v-6 down to 13.67 @ 102 with just a dry 85 shot, nittos, lid, etc. so yours should be hauling with all of that done. Getting off the line without spinning was always my problem. When I proved that it would go 13's, I bought the T/A and gave up on the firebird lol.

Nice runs.

We were both out of it and braking before we passed the camera. Trust me, My car is stupid loud and the other guy can vouch for my cltuch slipping like crazy. Cluth was slipping soo bad the 2nd run, my car filled with a lil smoke. I need to get me a new one, but I'm broke!
