lets you know how people hear it outside the car

I'm all set this year, shouldn't have any traction issues now.. Last year 18" rims, this year 15" with MT ET Street radials and sportsman SR's. oh and a 100 shot plate system..

Now I have a **** load of questions because I've been meaning to go to a smaller wheel for the track.
I didn't know you could fit 275's on a 8" rim. How does it ride like that? Did you have to do the BFH mod to make the 15's fit in the rear? Is your car lowered? Did you have to adjust your shocks to make them fit properly?
Appreciate it.

Yep, 275's fit just fine on a 15" rim. No BFH mod required, you do have to grind the caliper though.. Wasn't too bad, about 30 minutes per caliper.. Ride is ok, I have a 4" exhaust and since changing rims it hits the axle now everytime I hit a bump.. Sort of annoying, but I'll heat up the exhaust and bfh it a little for more clearance. Running QA1's on all 4's, no adjustment required. Ride height is virtually unchanged as I chose tires with basically the same dimensions height wise as my 18's were. Car is lowered too.. Think that covers it... Oh, rims are Summitt Stars...
Thanks for in the info. Can't wait to see what times you run with the new set up.
No problem man.. I'll let you know...
