Its kind of ironic that Toyota's 2JZ has its roots in a Chevy inline six in the first place. Toyotas first inline six cylinder design was copied from Chevy trucks during WWII.
The Import guys will claim, that they (Toy) started with a clean slate but I bet you will find some similarities between the old Chevy and the 2JZ, ie bearing dia, oil channels, something. The Japanese are great copiers and they throw nothing out.
At least that evens the score somewhat for the above abomination (and yes, I DID already give it kudos for workmanship/quality in the multiple OLD threads about it).
...now it has an almost 1000hp inline 6 and you're mocking it? Get a clue guys...
People put Chevy motors in Deuce Coupes and they were still cool. At least it isn't a 100hp Hybrid motor
Swap looks clean as **** and some of us appreciate something a little different

"Mocking" Most of the comments here are rather neutral. Most common quote is "the workmanship is great, but I probably wouldn't do it". You know if you posted a Mark4 with an LS1 in it on the Supra site you would probably get banned.
As far as 1000HP 2JZ's go, we all know what they're horspower curves look like and It needs no explanation why one of our cars with 600 HP can easily beat them.
