i seen this ad snooping around on craigslist...i remember a discussion on a thread about who owns the name trans am...pontiac or gm...turns out dodge does i guess. i wouldnt have this ugly pile of sh*t.

The name Trans Am is or at least was a racing series and Pontiac paid a fee for using the name. If I remember correctly the fee was $1 per car sold. The SCCA owned the name and the another company bought it and I don't know for sure who owns it now but its not a car company.
