Default video question??????

i have a bunc of videos on my computer of my car but when i put them on there off my camera they wont play, windows media player pops up and it is only the sound, no video! do i ne to re-format these or something? and ifso how do i do that?

you're missing a codec. Either update wmp to the latest version and\or get the model # of the camera and find out what codec AVI or MOV files it uses to record in. Find that codec, install it, and you should be good to go.

Format isn't something that WMP supports probably.....Pull up the properties on the video footage and see what the format is.....Then go to download.com and get the software needed to play it for free.

it says its "avi" format under the name of the movie and windows media player says it plays that.

ive downloaded 4 different codec packs and it still isnt working!

I've had the same issue with Windows Media Player........I download all the new episodes off Top Gear when they come out and they are in AVI format....All I get is the sound but no video.
