It depends on what your criteria is for "better". Sure, better built, better interior, etc. Perfomance wise, there are f-bodies out there that would rape either of those cars.
That said, I'd daily drive one.. or trade both in on a zr1 and use the extra $$$ for a few minor upgrades.

My friends car could beat that porsche. My uncles's cousins's nephews' sisters' former roommate has a lawnmower that would rape either of those cars.
Those are two VERY nice cars that I would LOVE to own. I would drive the **** out of them and then trade em in for a 08 Z06
LMAO at some of the comments. I LOVE those cars personally. In alot of ways(most of them) they ARE better than Fbodys, if you cant accept that.........well bless your heart. With that said, I would never buy one. Spending that much money on a car is insane, period.

if i were older, and had the cash. you bet id buy either of those. its not about how fast they are or whether theyre imports or not IMO. when you own a car like that. its all about CLASS and how many people stare at your car and wonder about how much you paid for it. 
that being said. i love my f-body, i love how it sounds, and i love the fact that for a fraction of the price, i could make it a much faster car than either of those.

That's a collection worth having right there. Porsche's two fastest cars in their current production line!! Only thing I don't like is the color of the wheels on the white one, but that's VERY minor.

EDIT: I was joking, I've seen this picture hundreds of times and stil find it funny. I own a firebird, and a rotty, but am quite far from a hick.

Oh, and I actually like the porsches, now only if they came with a sweet sounding v8 they'd be even better. I'm just not a fan of the v6 in them.
