It is already on your computer and it is free. I use Media Studio Pro, but it gets more complicated and it is expensive.
Pocholin- Thanks for the tip. I think I have to compress the vid as I'm pulling it off the camera with the "Movie Maker" software, but it looks like the best alternative I've figured out so far.

WMV format is in every Windows machine and many Macs are adopting it now, and much easier to encode.

As for compression (my reason for posting this thread), if you click the "Save to my computer" link on the program, it takes you to a screen where you choose how much to compress it. Obviously, the more you compress it the more the quality drops. I'll usually drop the size until the frame rate is around 250 or so, for reference.
