FINALLY asa cam clip

I know it was a real pain in the *** to find a sound clip of an asa cam in a ls1 fbod. So here we go I recently installed this cam and would like to post the clip for comments. Also to get one out there for who ever searches for one in the future.

yea getting it tuned is gonna be a pain in the ***. Being I live in hawaii and there are NO tuners that can do a decent tune on a ls car.

oh it has been tuned with all the mods I have minus this cam. Had a 233/239 in it before.

Do you have a dragstrip nearby? I'd love to see that cam vs your old one's numbers there.

Specs are 525/525 228/236 on a 110 lsa.

nope nearest one is maui. the specs are 226/237 .585 I believe, I am not sure dont feel like looking right now.

yep singles, Thinking about going to a flowmaster catback to quite her down though.

ASA SPECS
duration at .050" = 226/236
duration at .006" = 282/292
gross lift = .525"/.525"
LSA = 110
ICL = 108

The large exhaust split and fairly tight LSA give it 11* of overlap, hence the nasty sounding idle for a somewhat mild cam. Don't ditch the single chambers....get ya some earplugs.

One chambers sound badass with a cam. I have them on my LS1 camaro and my 67 is about to get a 3" set with an x-pipe.

jmm98ls1, when did you swap your car over to a 6 speed? I thought about your car when I saw this ASA cam thread and didn't know that you had done te swap. Got any videos? I bet its badass with that 4.56 gear.
