Just a warning to u guys. I bought a complete exhaust system from mac-header through catback. Upon installation, I found out that the tabs for the rear exhaust mount (to the rear bumber) were at two different locations. The exhaust pipes stick out on one side of my car farther than the other and the complete cat-back sits crooked underneath the car because of the read mounting. After contacting mac, they told me that there were mounting brackets that should have been included with my parts and they would take care of it immediately.

6 weeks later....no brackets....they won't reply to my emails and they won't return phone calls.

I am doing my best to insure that no other LS1 enthusiast fall victim to their "way of doing business". I would warn anybody against dealing with these guys. Their reguard for the customer is obviously crap. My guess is that they are on the verge of going out of business and just aren't returning customer calls or emails (about 6 for me with no reply) JMO.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

 

I hope you get the "we have been busy so we dont answer emails" excuse, its a classic!

Mac sucks ***, and I will continue to say that until they go out of business.... Long story short they cost me over $1000 out of my pocket for their screw up......and the owner is a dick about it... I hate MAC with a passion!!!!

 

I put a set of Mac Shorty Headers on my 94 LT1 Z-28. Soon after I became quite profecient with the removal of the headers on the drivers side. All they ever did was leak, and I had to have them ground flat, before they would ever seal. I warn everyone to stay away from MAC.

 

Well, I figured I wasn't the only one out there. I guess the most we can do is make sure that fellow enthusiast know not to use them....
