Sinister apologized for the address mistake. Apologized for anything that he may have done. I talked to the office and they said they didn't have the package so I asked to speak to the manager and told her I had confirmation that it was there and she looked some more and she found it in a place they don't put packages.

So thanx for the package. I'm not gonna complain anymore. Thanx for doing the leg work.

Usually I use the address coming from where the money order sent from originally. Simple mistake but as far as saying whos wrong Im not going into that one cause to me theres no clear cut as to who is at fault Id say file the police report then go threw ups for insurance. Also talk with the person that drops off the packages see maybe if someone was around.

It's different then the one on the return address on the letter I sent you.
Ok so if you were selling somethign and the person who was buying it sent you this message. You would tell them ok I'll let you know, not say your not mailing it to that address and mail it to the one they told you not to anyway?

This message was copied out of my PM box. I put the *** so people wouldn't know my moms address.

ok now this getting out of hand

i have been responsive back and fourth..and now you go and blast a thread on here..

i first said i was sorry it about the address in the pm i honestly didnt see it or remember.

if you dont forget to sell the damn shifter i had over 30 some pm back and fourth to you..to sell a damn shifter...

you dont remeber hasseling me on the price for over 3 hours and telling me i need to toss in some extras and what better i can do..yadda over the time frame i would bet money there was at least 30+ pms.. back and fourth till the money was sent....

you forget to mention the part of haveing OVER 30 pm's in your lil statement..

so you wonder why i missed the pm with address...you show me someone on here that wouldent make the same mistake....

i recieved the money order.......notified you that i recieved it..and shipped the shifter out and notified you that the shifter was sent and would arrive on friday..

and it did.........im sorry i used YOUR address that you had on the return address of the envelope that what people do..did i miss the pm with you requesting the other address yes..i missed it..but when i had over 30 + pm with you over 20 bucks yeah im sure im not the only one on this board that would do that...

as soon as i recieved you money order i boxed up the shifter and took it to ups with the envelope with the return address to make sure i didnt get the wrong address

i gave tracking numbers and i have reciept of my shipping and it was dilivered and confirmation that it was dilivered...

i told you what are some options.......and i feel i am being way more then fair......

cause right now i can easly say sorry bud how do i know your not just lieing to me and have the shifter sitting in your car..cause i have ups confirmation that it was sent and made it..

2nd its not my fault you live in a ghetto apartment as you said...

am i gonna whip out my check book and right you a 140 dollar check not a chance...

i told you contact ups..i doubt they will do anything but i insured it up to 100 bucks..

and i said contact you local police..and report theft...have you done any of this...........no you decided to waste peoples time on post on here.....

the phone number i gave you do not contact me on it......

if you need to speak to me respond on this thread.........i want everthing recorded...

if the police need to contact me please feel free to give them the number i gave you.....

i have excellent trader rateing on here and never had a problem with anyone...ive sold and bought items off tech as low as 75 bucks to ad high as a 6000 motorcycle that was shipped from hawaii.

from listening to both side. It seems pretty clear that the seller did everything to a T. I say you need to file a report and try the ups insurance I know from dealing with them once before since it shows up as being left at your door there is not much they will do. Time to get you a post office box or have them hold your mail for you

The seller did everything to a "T" except ship it to the address that was provided to him. Never, NEVER ship to a return address on an envelope. If you sell something and need to ship it, you ship to an address provided to you by the buyer. If you don't have an address provided by the buyer, you contact them and ask for one. Guessing that a return address on an envelope is the correct one is asking for problems.

In this case an address was provided to the seller. The seller did not use that address when shipping the package. That error, that the seller made, prevented the buyer from ever recieving the item. The seller never completed the transaction because he never sent the item to the correct address, thus the seller should refund the money to the buyer. Its pretty cut and dry, it was a small mistake on the part of the seller, but it was HIS mistake.

I'll bet you $10 that the driver left it on the PORCH. Drivers will put the location they left the package on the signature line when there is no one there to sign for it. Counter and Lobby sign for packages all the time at my store.

If you did that with me you would either mail it to my accountant or to a residential address I seldom go to. If I pay by check my accountant prints it out and mails it from her house with either her address or my business address on it. If I pay by MO the envelope gets stamped with my home address where the mail gets forwarded to my apartment, however packages and UPS/Fedex don't get forwarded so I wouldn't recieve them. If I pay with Paypal you will get my confirmed address at work, which is where I tell everyone to ship my stuff to, regardless of the address on my check or envelope.

If someone provides you an address to ship to, there is no excuse for not shipping to that address unless Paypal is involved.

prove to me that the shifter isnt sitting at his house...

i can prove it was shipped to an address he lives at and it was recieved...

but prove to me that it isnt there and he isnt saying this to try and get his money back...

im not saying that is the case...........but it easly could be......i have proof that it was dilivered

and to add i guess i will do the legg work i have contacted ups..and told them that the buyer is claiming the packing was stolen/never recieved..

The only reason I'm quick to take his side is because you did not ship the item where it was supposed to go. You were not given that address to ship the shifter, so the buyer cannot be held responsible to what happened to the package once it arrived there.

And of course you should be the one doing the leg work, it was your mistake that caused this situation. Had you shipped the item to the address you were provided this would not be an issue. You shipped the package to an address the buyer provided to USPS to return the envelope to if it could not be delivered.

I have no problems where I live because I have a concealed handgun liscence and pack one everywhere I go. When I'm not here and a package sits out wither here or at the offices porch that's when there is a problem.
