MaxxMitchell I purchased a set of pro topline heads that he said were good to go. The heads were far from what he said they were. They had to be milled because of the nics and gouges the head surface. MaxxMitchell said that they had been milled prior, well when they milled them, they neglected to mill the rocker arm stud pads too, throwing off the the height of the valve train geometry which I found out after they were bolted on motor. He sent the heads to me with worn out shims when he changed valve springs on me prior to shipping. I had to replace the shims to make the valve springs work.
I asked MaxxMitchell to compensate me for the work needed to make these "bolt-on" heads work. After he refused, I said that I would send the heads back and he could just refund my money.
This is what he said, "This is a used part, no warranty was implied and no mention of a refund was made in the for sale thread."
I am currently pursuing other avenues to recover some of my money.
