I'm a mechanic. Its what I do for a living. I'm pissed because your taking low shots at me. I don't care what fanboys you have on here that are your buddys saying what you want them to but that trans worked perfect when I sold it. I'm not out to rip anyone out of anything that trans fluid was NOT burnt when you got it. Do what you need to do but just know that I WILL FIGHT YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY! If somethings wrong its because you messed it up. You said yourself that you were putting a stock trans into a vette that was no means stock.

Fan boys, our history here and feedback speaks for us. I have a stock trans in my vette that has seen many low 10 second passes and it works flawless. The trans slipped from the time it pulled out of the driveway. Did you drive the wrecked car before you sold the trans, it's a legit question?

Yes, and I sorry for the mix up but there was nothing wrong with the trans. Period. I'm done here. Obviously I'm not going to get anywhere.

See, you guys need to get your story straight. I was told that it performed fine in all gears and that it only slipped on hard accel. Its funny how the story has changed.

I work on these cars daily too and the transmission was JUNK. The minute the transmission was installed it slipped! Frank pulled it out of his shop, drove it down the road and called saying it was slipping. I told him to bring it by the shop; he trailered the car to my shop so that he did not get blamed for trashing it. When I drove the car down the road it would shift but at 1/2 throttle it would start slipping... Darrel contacted you and made a thread saying it could be something with the tune. Frank then trailered the car to LMR from my shop and they said the Trans is junk.

No one is out to screw anyone on this end. Frank is pretty disappointed that he has to pull the transmission back out. HE WANTED IT TO WORK!!! Franks car is not a big HP motor car; it only makes about 450/500 on motor at best. A stock transmission should be able to support this without any issues... I can understand if the transmission was in the car for a few months and it went out because he was beating on it but it did not even last past the test drive.

I don't understand why everyone jumps to the conclusion that I'm the bad guy here. I have pictures of the car being driven, the title showing the correct mileage and have done everything to make sure that he was happy. The trans that I sold worked perfect.

Ok, were not really getting to far with this. Its 5-6 against 1 here. Im going to move this to the member feedback section just so we don't have more outside parties junking it up.

Read my response. Yes it worked when you was taking off normal but when you started giving it gas to speed up it would start slipping. YES it was slipping from the time it pulled out of the driveway, 1/2 throttle was slipping bad. The stall covers up some of the slipping at a low speed but once the stall was locked up it was obvious the Transmission was JUNK!!!

Have fun disputing Pay-Pal, your response shows your lack of professionalism!

Disrespecting him???? What do you think was done to me??? Calling me a cheat and a liar. Your right I got pissed. So would you, or anyone else. I have bought and sold hundreds of things on different forums and have never had this happen before.

Don't worry about me. I'm covered and prepared to take this to the end! Count on it.
