I know I posted this once before, but I deleted it as a sign of "good faith". (I'll elaborate on that more in a minute.) I have since been encouraged to repost it by both CRAGER, and nhra-trans-am, so thats what I'm doing.

I had CRAGER run an IP check on Hnaskoct to see if he is under a different username selling, but Hnaskoct has too many IPs tied to his account to be able to track reliably.

Just over 5 months ago, on May 13th, I contacted Kenneth Lemieux AKA Hnaskoct about a complete t56 swap he was selling. We discussed the price, shipping arrangements, etc. Communication was going great. On May 17th, I had paid in full. At this time, communication came to pretty much a screeching halt. Two weeks went by, I had received nothing, not even a tracking number, and communication was sketchy at best.

This is when I made my first original post in the bad traders section warning people about him.

Finally, on June 1st, He PM'd me with a tracking number and asked me to delete my bad trader post. I did. (unfortunately) I took posession of the transmission on June 3rd. Upon further inspection of the transmission, I noticed that the center console had been wedged between the transmission, and the bell housing, and the Spec clutch was laying under the transmission covered in grease/oil that had dripped down from the transmission itself. At this time I have not confirmed whether the clutch can be cleaned and used.

I tried to contact him about the center console since that is the harder to replace piece. He assured me that he would look for a new console to replace the damaged one. He was dragging me on this "assuring leash" for about two months. Every time I contacted him, he reassured me that he was looking and just have not found anything yet. My last PM reply I have received from him was on August 4th. I have sent several messages, and have not received a reply since the 4th of August.

Let me be completely honest, I have one major downfall. I am a very trusting person. I kept giving him the benefit of the doubt instead of going with my gut feeling, hoping that the issue would resolve itself. However, after 5 months, enough is enough.

Up until 2 weeks ago, I had been unemployed and I had no way to replace my damaged parts. (not that I should have to replace them on my own dime anyway) My torque converter is going bad in my Auto, and I cannot replace the transmission because I have not received the replacement parts.

I have been a member of this site since August of 2006, even though my trader rating ammount is small, it is a perfect trader rating. I have never had a problem like this until this time.

It is unfortunate that there is scum out there like Hnaskoct that are ready, willing, and able to rip honest people off like this. It gives the ls1tech community a bad reputation and has totally changed my entire perspective on how I view the board. This whole ordeal has gotten me frustrated to the point I am unsure if I even want to keep my TA.

I probably will, however reality has set in and my views of trading on ls1tech have been changed dramatically.

I removed a reply giving him the doubt, also removed a Paypal dispute giving him the Honest doubt since I rec'vd part of the parts I bought, He forgot to ship the missing parts,and said he would ship them,, Never heard from him since, I know some of his disputes have been resolved, but he is very inconsiderate, and full of Sh--, when it comes to people skills and selling on this site,, is rating of 26 has blemishes and I can undestand why,, Let him sell on Ebay and they will eat his frigging lunch,,, He kept telling Me how honest he was on my PM's when he finally answered,, Now is the time to PUT UP OR SHUT the F--- UP !! He can't say he was not on this site to answer PM"s, Click on his name it will show when he was on, but not considerate enough to answer,, I have sent PM's telling him the trash is going to happen, Da-Remix,, Man up !

 

I purchased a harness from him a long time back. It turned out that he sold the same harness to two other people. I finally got the harness so I posted that he had resolved our problem. Two months later I start to mod the harness for a swap and it's a POS. It had shorted out, at some point, about 12" from the pcm and burned over 20 wires into. They had been wrapped back together and covered with duct tape. It took me two weeks to fix that fukin mess and that was the last business I will ever do with him.

 

This Guy keeps telling how honest he is !!!! ^ That actually may be what this site wants. The moderators, through their actions (or lack of action) have made it fairly clear that they don't care who gets scammed, for how much, or if the scammer continues to lurk and fish for more victims. And they like to give out ridiculous infraction points to people that are trying to help the person that got screwed by heckling the scammer.

I really lucked out. I tried to buy the bare block from this guy a few months ago. He gave me the same description of the block and rotating assembly. I sent him the money for the block and he was difficult to get a hold of and unresponsive. He said he was going through something but would get it shipped out. A few days later the money was refunded into my Paypal and he said he would not be able to ship it out. Initially I was a little pissed but THANK GOD!!!!!!

 

i sold this stuff a couple months ago...and u said in the pm that u checked everything...i know it was fine,when i sent it..so now a few months later u come with this bullshit....how do u go over everything and not see that big *** peice cracked off that piston if thats how u got it??????even a blind man could see that......months later be real...

Will discuss details of compromise...waiting to hear back from him. Had a deal set and agreed upon, but looks like it's taking a turn for the worse. Still going back and forth via text...either way, i will let the full and honest details be known...no cover ups.
