Default Problems, any help?

I wasnt sure where to post this so we will try here first. I sold an intake to a forum member on here alittle over a month ago. No damage, good condition, shipped fedex insured. A week after he gets it he texts and says its damaged and wants his money back. I said ok its insured, just send it back and I will. He argues about needing money before he ships it back and that im a bad seller because I wont refund until I get item back. Two weeks go by and nothing, then today I get a text saying it will ship today! 37 days later. Just wondering what I should do. Hell I dont even know if theres a timeframe, or if he dropped the damn thing. Any input is appreciated. Thanks,
Jeff

There is a timeframe. Call FedEx. Since you shipped it, you would be the one that has to make the claim. But...since he waited that long, it might be too late. I don't remember exactly how long you have to make a claim.

Did he send you any pics showing the damage?

Hard call though. Why did he wait a week to tell you? Maybe he broke it trying to install it or whatever. I usually open all my stuff up when I recieve it to make sure it is how it was described or how the pics showed it to be. Waiting to complain of damage would be a huge mistake.

I think 30 days is the limit for damage claims.
