buyers beware.just bought a 3.42 rear end from him sunday.i talked to him on the phone to try and get an honest description of the rear end.he claimed it was in "good shape" nothing wrong with it.he even made me put a $50 non refundable deposit down so no one would buy it.no problem.fast foward to the next sunday and i go to pick up the rear end from him/the carrier bolts are chewed up from something hitting them.he claimed it was because someone must have swapped carriers in it and that everything was in good shape.from his dimly lit garage with no flashlight(my fault) it looked like teeth were in tact and in good shape.i payed him the realining $250 because he claimed rear end was in good shape.took it home and opened her up. the pinion gears were chipped all to hell.there were metal shavings in the little fluid that was left in the pumpkin.and the carrier geras were chewed up on the backside of the teeth.i call him up to tell him that there were things we both didnt see in the rear end and that upon closer inspection,this thing is not in good condition at all and that i want my monney back.long story short,he says"tough.its craigslist,man.what more do you want?"
WTF?? I JUST WANT A GOOD PART.i just want what you told me yoou had which was a good rear end.OR i just want my money back.now im screwed and back to sqaure one.
just beware.if he did this to me,imagine what he would do to someone he ships to.im not sure of his username on here,but if anyone gets contacted from Grandparie and his name is Rey,watch out the kid is a dishonest crook.thats cool though,carma is a real bitch and what comes around goes around.

no.but i believe in whats right.lets say i sold you a pair of heads that i said were in great condition. nothing wrong with them.then you inspcted them with a good light and found out the valves were cracked. or the bolt holes were stripped out.what would you do? if you calld me and told me,i would try to make it right with you. i would nt just say sorry man, sold as is.its craigslist,what do you expect? thats just shitty.
