had a post up in wtb for a 3200 stall he messages me randomly with this

"i have for sale is Yank SS3200 Stall converter, Their is less then 2500 miles on this converter, its been installed since last year, most of the time sitting in the drive way. my car makes around 600hp and according to yank this converter is good for that easy.

Im upgrading to a 4l80e setup so this needs to go. Its been a great converter for the street, and worked well with my turbo car, i never made it to the track, so i dont have any idea what my 60's wouldve been.

i texted him back and fourth for an hour and he seemed legit. stupid me sent the money (luckily through paypal) but as soon as i said i did i got no responses at ALL. i called and had a hold put on it but please guys be careful and make sure this guys doesnt get you too, i also did a little more snooping and found he has done this to other people as well with cylinder heads and seats.

 

I was about to buy a hot cam from him. Same type of deal, he responded to a wtb thread of mine. Thanks for posting this

 

Big ******* red flag!!! Put a paypal dispute ASAP.....IMO.

 

I called PayPal about an hour after I sent the money
they immediately upgraded it from dispute to a claim
And I called my credit card Company for safe measures
It just boggles my mind how deceitful people can be.

 

Wow I'm working on a fi 5.3 build and put a wtb 3.800 pistons and Immaeditley he responded that his build went through and had new ones just laying around. After explainin to him I had something come up with the family he still tried to get me to buy brand new pistons for 100 + under what they cost new. Something rubbede the wrong way. Was actually hoping he was just a good guy but I went with my gut. Such a shame no one can be trusted now a days

 

Goodluck man hope it works out for you. Also te company on his profile is supposidely a real company. Didn't look to far into it.

 

He tried to get me on a t56 but I did a search with his SN and saw he scammed someone on a pair of heads.

hey man i have a ls6 intake for sale. Has around 80k miles on it. Its in great shape. I have a set of gaskets/orings i will throw in with the intake and a set of new intake bolts. Asking $300 shipped.

I cant take paypal right now im trying to get my account sorted out after i got scammed by a guy. I sold him an intake and once he got the intake he had his credit card company reverse the transaction and it put my paypal into the negative so im trying to get it worked out. Here is the thread, watch out for this guy...

well read that thread and be careful because according to paypal anyone who pays you with a credit card can legally have their credit card company remove the funds from your paypal account after they receive the part you sent them. Thats the new paypal scam and trust me paypal wont help you. Everyone thinks paypal is so great but its not. Do a few google searches.

i didnt? the thread was made by another member the guy ended up ripping off 4 of us. For some reason i cant post in the thread or make my own.

He tried getting me on an SS hood, I showed him a thread about him and he said "I'm not trying to scam anyone". I told him I only deal in PayPal and never heard back. If you want money, get yourself a job buddy.

 

Same thing happened to me I wanted a set of headers and he sent me a picture. And I was texting him and I told him to make a date sheet next to the headers. His response it be a day or two never heard from the piece of ****.... Beware......
