Ended up being an unbalanced turd with mismatch pistons.
We had also agreed he would give me front and rear cover along with an fbody oil pan. After he was paid I tried to contact him for a week about the missing items but as you can guess he ignored me. Upon retrieving the short block, the machine shop where I picked it up from let me know It was a turd and needed 10over pistons and not the 5 over they installed but they did what Brian had asked ( I hold no I'll will toward the machine shop). This was not a refreshed motor, this was a peicemealed motor using old mismatched parts.
They also informed me that Brian came in the day after I paid for it and took the other items stating " I didn't want them"
He is a POS, had I been smarter i would have checked his name on LS1tech prior and learned he has done this before and has a borrie rep in the Houston racing seen . Hope this helps someone else not to get burned
