I put up a wanted ad saying i was looking for cam. On 12-6 johnjunkins messaged me saying he had one for $300. then sent another message saying $275 and then sent another saying $250. I thought that was odd but owell, I said i would take it.
He told me pay friends and family. I said no but i will do this as goods and pay the fees. We agreed and he told me " I will get it out to you this week, I just had back surgery"

lets fast forward to 12-13. I sent him a message saying " not rushing just wondering did this get shipped?". he responded with "everything will be going out tomorrow"

Now lets goto 12-20 i still received nothing, i asked him what is going on! He told me it will be getting shipped out the next week!

so now on 12-22, i asked did this get shipped. He then tells me it will get shipped in the next couple days.

After that I told him, i have needed this cam weeks ago. Please send me my refund. after that i got no more responses. I ended up finding his Cell number and told him i need my refund, he told me he would get me a refund. well now we are on 12-29 and i have got

no refund and he still logs onto hear. He keeps telling me i will get my refund soon and now he says he will have his CARRIER block my number.

This is unacceptable and I have filed a dispute with paypal. Do not do business with this guy, he has horrible communication and is a liar with many different stories. He could end all this if he would just refund my money, dude is a joke!

If you can log onto Ls1tech everyday, you can refund my money!

 

i remember seeing him, i also seem to remember seeing something about hospital or something a year ago. he has lots of trader feedback on here i think but i agree, it was always odd the few times i talked to him and always said god bless

 

He has always Low balled me when I tried to sell things. Then I see him trying to sell Used parts at near full retail.

It's against PayPal policy to ask people to pay friends and family to Avoid the fee's. It's also against there policy for them to ask you to Pay the fees if you Pay for an Item using goods and services. It's just the cost of doing business these days.

I hope you get your refund so you can move on from this.

 

yeah no doubt and he came to me saying he had a cam and would ship out that week and now its turned into month. I understand stuff might pop up and you dont feel good but he could atleast refund me, which he keeps telling me he will. I assume he spent the money and doesnt have it. He seemed shady and I only sent him the money because of his feedback.

Not saying the guy is a complete scammer but he sure isnt very pleasant to deal with and doesnt keep his word.

 

its also only $250, ill live and i think paypal will get it back if he decides not to. However i did see him recently sell a moser 12 bolt and lsa block, I wonder how that is going.

 

I had a similar issue with him and after some prodding he eventually shipped the valve covers and they did arrive in the condition described. I understand when things come up that delay shipping but not responding to PM's even though you are on this page browsing does not leave a buyer feeling very confident in getting his stuff and certainly doesn't help after being told the item is all boxed up and ready to go the day after you pay and then nothing happens for almost 2 weeks.

 

Sad to hear this, I bought a pair of seats from him a few years ago picked them up @ his house seemed like a stand up guy. Had a pretty sick "ultra z" 4th gen camaro too.

 

I had purchased 2 blocks around Thanksgiving from him. A ls1 and ls2 block. Said both were in good usable condition. The ls2 block had some damage from being rough handled and looked like a torque converter bolt backing out and hitting block on backside. Doesnt look like anything harmful just cosmetic.

The ls1 on the other hand was a diff story. It had 2 cracks between the water jacket and #2 sleeve. Also looked like a hairline crack down near bottom of same cylinder. I purchased this block for a customers engine build i was planning for his ls swap. I contacted him via text a week ago and he said he was in the hospital back surgery.....
Said he would make it right.


I finally said screw it and made a dispute through paypal for a refund on the ls1 block. Hate doing business with people tht dont give full story on things from the get go. Lesson learned!!!

 

yeah paypal got my money back for me. Im pretty sure the guy is full of ****.. he told me he had back surgery 2 months ago. he has screwed about 2 other people i know of, he wasnt going to make it right with me either. i can only imagine what the "new cam" would have looked like had he sent it. he tried getting me to send the money paypal friends. glad I didnt!

 

As a reminder to Everyone! You should never send money Via PayPal as friends and family to people you don't know. If they are concerned about the 3% charge, Either they should ask more for what they are selling or learn to be an adult and accept it like paying taxes. It's against Paypal Policy for a seller to ask a buyer to Pay the fee's.

 

Well just to add to all this. Paypal send me a email today and says i gotta pay return shipping of the bad block to get a refund of the payment. I originally paid for both blocks and paid for shipping the first time around. This is total bs! PayPal is a joke. And on top of tht i used fastenal for shipping the first time around, now they exspect me to ship this block to his residential address! He also has to recieve the block and inspect it for me to get my refund. I originally paid $300 for the block and after all this im about to just say the he'll with it and chalk it up as a lose. It honestly aint worth all the dam trouble of paying shipping twice. Total bs!!!!

Yea i sent him a text last night without a reply. Last time i talked to him all he had to say was I will make it right! Doesnt look tht way!

If you paid via a credit card do a charge back. I never pay any other way for goods so I have recourse if Paypal tries to screw me.

 

It looks like some of us paid him for the same block!!!’ 🤣😂... Paid him for a LSA block that I never got... he had excuse after excuse .. sent me pics of someone’s back after surgery & even pretended to be his daughter claiming he was in a coma after complications from surgery!!! He never provided confirmation that block was shipped!!! Sent me some screen shot that was not a signed paid shipping invoice.. he wants me to put American Express on the hook 4 it when he never shipped it!!! I’m having some people in Wv check with local authorities I’m trying to pursue this scammer legally or otherwise. I’m probably gonna be able to recover thru paypal or American Ex but that’s not the point!!! He needs 2 be banned from this forum & prosecuted by law... If there r any WV law enforcement officials on this forum what’s up?? Why not help the LS1tech community get rid of scum like this so we all can buy & sell among the good folks!!
